Motuotau Island Dawn Fan Rush by Ken Wright
Shot to day at dawn(31.5.2011) taken from Moturiki Island (Leisure Island) view towards Motuotau Island (Rabbit Island) the sunrise was sensational with a streaming red fan of light, this was the only shot that gave me water movement in a very calm sea.
Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm Nikkor Lens
Cokin Z-pro ND8 and 4 grads + warming filter.
Processed in CS3 and Photomatix Pro HDR

Thanks Dale, it was a treat to be out, couldn’t work fast enough for this set, just wished the sea had a little more volume, i was trying to get a vertical shot with water movement, no chance, it took about ten waves before there was any volume. This one is the best.
