Taken at Ngawi, early start, 3.30am, nearly two hours to get to Ngawi (nar-wee) a commercial fishing settlement located in the Wairarapa, lower North Island. Ngawi
This is a 70 second exposure, when I arrived at Ngawi it was pitch black and blowing like hell, i thought that it was a right off, weather forecast was bad, but, buy the time that I had got ready the moon shone through the racing clouds and lit everything up, this was 6.02am.
Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm Nikkor Lens, Cokin ND4 grad, tripod and sand bags. Active D-Lighting on Norm, ISO 200

Terrific!!! I love the reflected lights in the water and the beautiful composition with the shoreline curving down the right of the image. Really wonderful!
