Early start, 3.30am, nearly two hours to get to Ngawi (nar-wee) Beach, a commercial fishing settlement located in the Wairarapa, lower North Island. The bulldozer capital of New Zealand.
This is for Henk , Henk came down to wellington about a month ago, on our trip out i said to Henk that I thought that i could do a multiple frame stitch and include a moving element, well, check it out, the sky is 6 frames, the foreground is 4 frames.
all shot on a nikon D700, 17-35mm nikkor Lens, ND8 soft grad Cokin filter, tripod.
So, what’s the trick, I watched for the wave pattern to establish a line to aim for on each frame, the far left and far right frame was simple, the work went into the two middle frames, frame three took several shots.
If I say so myself, I’m pretty happy with this composition :-}
