Taken near the bach cafe on Wellingtons’ rugged south caost, the light was stunning, the weather was rough, lovely soft pastel light over the seaward Kaikouras on the south island. shot 6 frames on rapid, this gave me the most interesting water pattern.

Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm Nikkor Lens, ND 8 soft Grad, tripod. Raw files with Active D-Lighting on High.

Hi, Kia Ora from New Zealand, i have recently moved to Papamoa in the Bay of Plenty. I have spent the last thirty years taking photos, I love capturing images, especially ones that only I saw, only I was silly enough to get up at that time to catch the sunrise, photography is a wonderful thing, capture an image and you preserve the moment forever, miss it, and its lost forever.

Hope that you enjoy these images.
