What can i say, I’ve skipped over several hundred images to be able to work on this one, I just love the feel of the water, the colour in the sky, I never expected to get a sunset image at Burleigh, this is lovely.

couldn’t get close enough to the young lady to ask her to stand still so she is a little soft, never the less its a nice image.

you have my card so contact me on kjwrightphoto@gmail.com and I will add you name to the image

Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm nikkor lens.

Hi, Kia Ora from New Zealand, i have recently moved to Papamoa in the Bay of Plenty. I have spent the last thirty years taking photos, I love capturing images, especially ones that only I saw, only I was silly enough to get up at that time to catch the sunrise, photography is a wonderful thing, capture an image and you preserve the moment forever, miss it, and its lost forever.

Hope that you enjoy these images.

Gorgeous colours and great composition, Ken. The slight softness of the girl really works, suggesting her transience in the scene. Congrats on your feature.
