Trapped charred wood

Shot in the Hutt River near Moonshine Bridge, Upper Hutt, New Zealand. We have had some great last light in the valley, the change starts about 4.30pm and its gone in less than half an hour, stunning soft pinks and peaches.

Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm Nikkor Lens, Cokin ND8 grad, tripod and sand bag.

check out the image below, this is about 10 mins latter, the sky is loosing its pink giving way to lovely wedgewood blues, this is a closer angle to the log in the foreground which reveals a trapped plastic wrap.

Its a wrap!
