This is the one for me, this one has all the drama, love the sky breaking up to the left, this wasn’t were I was going this morning, the end of the valley had low lying cloud, that clour acted as a barrier, stopping the sun coming through and throwing this fantastic pink light down the valley.

This location is 5 mins from home, behind me is SH2, and streaming cars heading to work in Wellington, we have had bad weather lately which is giving some great skys.

Shot in the Hutt River, looking into Trentham Park, this is about 7.45am, sun rising to my left.

Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm lens, with Cokin ND8 grad filter.
