1889 Masonic Temple by

I finally got around to painting probably my second favorite building in Waxahachie. It’s the old Masonic Temple (built in 1889), which is currently the Ellis County Museum. This beautiful building stands adjacent to the Ellis County Courthouse and compliments it well. Painted en plein air on the courthouse lawn.

    Love your painting, the perspective is great. Ihavent been to Waxahachie in a long time. I was stationed in Ft Hood back in the late 60’s
