An anvil cloud looming somewhere between Comfort and Fredericksburg in the Hill Country of Texas. Painted in March of 2009 from an old photo I took while heading to Fredricksburg for some good German food.

Oh this is really a lovely watercolor. What beautiful contrast you have created here. Just had to say also that I will always remember my one and only visit to fredricksburg while on a trip out west years ago. Very memorable and interesting little town. So many interesting shops and restaurants. You are a very talented artist.

Yes, Fredericksburg is very interesting. There’s an old train tunnel near there with over 2 million bats. Quite a sight!

Nice composition, nice leaving of whites for water, I thought, you could have reduced crowding in the background trees far away and they could be with soft edges? just a suggestion, painting is very nice and colours are COOL…
