But what is notable is that the church remains distinct and solidly identifiable; a bulwark despite the colorful chaos surrounding it. A brilliant statement Ken, done in an illustrative way.

The elements hate the closed spaces…
cathedrals are broken through the vitrails.
And the sounds lost in height,
warm the high walls of lost hate.
But inside the Soul,
there are thousand rainbows,
hurricanes….floodings and flowerings,
high and low tides of emotions,
crushing suns of thirsty yearnings,
and silent moons with moanings inside.
So..I we will meet from now on….
into the other’s eyes,
letting the elements,
transcend…the deepest
of the skin’s hands
Rosa (it is a real interesting experience. In part symbolic. From time to time ideals are sieging on the other’s beleivings. Communion does not open fortresses to protect us from this…good work Ken)
kenspics replied
Wow.. what an amazing comment Rosa.. swept me away into a new realm of thought!!! Many thanks for the essence of your soul that you pour into each and every comment!!! Hugs!!
kilmann
Very symbolic illustration of the current position of the church in the world.
kenspics replied
Indeed it is Kilian.. and not just the Roman Catholic church either.
Many thanks for your comment!!!
Gilberte
Not far from your home…are you also under siege Ken?
Shall I come to the rescue?Keep a mask before your mouth until I reach you.
kenspics replied
No.. not personally under siege (at least not today) Gilberte… but when I am.. I shall call upon your siege breaking talents to rescue me!!! Remember to bring your golf clubs and mask though if you get the call!!! Cheers!!

Very good analogy Ken! The “Church” is under siege, but it always has been. NOTHING can ever really get to “her”, as she is under the wing of God, almighty. An everlasting Body of Christ…. that can never be touched, but for a season. The voice of the martyrs… still cry out, but the church (Body of Christ), still exists! If any one THINKS they can wipe it out… they are up against God!! Love this!
kenspics replied
You’ve hit the head on the nail there… or is that rather the nail on the head (how can you tell that I am not a carpenter!!!). Excellent and so VERY true comments Jael .. my deepest thanks!!!!!
kenspics replied
PS.. many thanks as well for adding this to your favorites!! I am honored!!

Kind of a scary thought what Kilmann says about this being symbolic of the position of the church in the world today. Well, maybe not scary as much as it is sad. But in the end, we know who will come out of top :-) With that being said, your artistic talent has come through quite nicely on this one Ken.
kenspics replied
Always good to hear from you Theresa.. and you are correct in your comment that while it is both scary and sad to some degree, we DO know who will triumph in the end!! Praise God!!!
Thank you for your very kind comments and for the honor of a favorite!!!!
