Winter was trapped in a glass egg, from which it now escapes in order to reestablish its reign
Feeling the chill in the air the birds are leaving. It’s time to put the gloves on and prepare for the cold season.

is it Buddha’s Tree of Knowledge?

  • I wasn’t thinking it like that, though it gives a spiritual symbolism, I only tried to represent winter trapped in a globe. Thanks for your favs, man.

Congratulations, Kensho! Your stunning work is Featured in the Sci-Fi group! On show this week, Alien Artifacts. What remnants of former greatness might we find when we venture out to Earth-like worlds? Will we encounter thriving cultures, or possibly just tantalizing hints of other races who rose to their zeniths but have disappeared with time? After all, the Earth is young yet (4 billion years) compared to the Universe at large. So much may have come and gone… (science fiction theme of the week). Maybe we will find only ruins and riddles, such as this. Well Done!

  • Thanks, Nadia, charming description of the theme, here :D
