WOW, excellent shot, great composition and the timing is perfect!! What an impressive bird!! Very well done.Brendan
Wow Ken ~ What an awesome shot !!! Really like the lines on his wing span a giant “M”what is that about a 15" trout ?
The stream is periodically stocked with large trout for local fishermen. Some do their fishing from the air. Don’t know if it’s legal, but it was effective.
Great catch for you and the osprey, Ken I don’t think that trout is feeling any pain. I always wonder way they are so motionless after being caught.
This is the most amazing capture, fantastic,
That fish is probably still alive and thinking Oh my God! What do I do now? This is a fabulous shot Ken!
Thank you, Sharon. It was no doubt a shock to the poor fish to be lifted out of his world by a higher power. BTW, I got a lot of good ideas from your RB site, and joined many of the groups you have listed. Thank you!
Wonderful, simply love it!
wow wow wow ! what an amazing capture. the look of determination on the ospreys face is amazing. What a catch as well i dont think i have ever caught such a nice looking fish lol. great job
awesome !!! :D
Aloha Ken, what good ideas did you get from my portfolio?
First, your use of light and shadow, land and sea. Second, taking a natural theme and linking it to a human trait, or a mythical one. Third, keeping your art subjects close to home. I often think I need to go on a photo safari in order to find great subjects to photograph, but all my photos are taken within a couple of miles of my home, and I haven’t run out of subjects yet. Oh, and fourth…wearing a garland of flowers in my hair while I’m out in nature so as to attract my beautiful subjects to come closer.
