Incredible Ken. Such a narrow DOF, it’s amazing that the bee is in crisp focus as well as the waxwing. Great title too:)
It is unusual to have both objects in focus, considering the long lens I used. I think the bee and the bird were nearly the same distance from the lens. I was aware of a bee in the vicinity when I took the shot, but I wasn’t trying to include it when I snapped.

That is an incredible bird shot, such beautiful color and detail but that bee truly is the icing on a delightful cake! It gives incredible balance to the whole image!
