Excellent capture Ken!! Congrats on being “featured” too!! Nice job of capturing the wing motion, yet nice, sharp focus of the head and eyes.
Thanks, John. Nice surprise to get this one featured. I was lucky to get the main body in focus as he took off from the perch. That doesn’t happen a lot. Daytime lighting wasn’t as good as I wished (and I was shooting from inside the house), so I had some noise issues on the wings. What saved the shot was the decent focus on the head.
