Hi Ken, fantastic shot with wonderful clarity. What lens do you use?
Ken Haley replied
A 300mm F4 fixed lens, and depending on distance, I attach a 1.4X teleconverter. The Nikon F4 is pretty good, not top of the line, but good glass.

Great shot and very good detail. I use a Sigma 70-300 Zoom for a lot of my wildlife pics, but this lens looks very sharp. Mine can be a bit hit and miss sometimes.
Ken Haley replied
Thanks for the nice comment! I use a Nikon 300mm f4, often coupled with a 1.4X Nikon teleconverter. That’s about as high end as I can go for now. Someday a 300 f2.8, maybe.
