Great shot. But….what is he doing out there in the sunshine? Is he sick? We had one in our backyard yesterday and he looked pretty bad…slow and weaving with a line of exposed skin from the tip of his head down to his tail. I shooed him away! No photos taken…Hope the one you saw was OK. He looks fine!

Didn’t seem sick. Maybe he lives in the tree. Looks like a young one.

ahhh the memories come back again….
last summer while camping, i woke up hearing noises in the camp. i got a flashlight just KNOWING it was a bear (in ks???) and there was one of the BIGGEST raccoons stealing from my cooler. it was so funny cause he just stopped, looked at me, with his paw still inside…kind of had this look like ‘oooh, hi…my hand? oh…i was just..um….yeah….......BYE’....lol

  • Ken Haley replied

The epitome of a guilty look, isn’t it? Even if the fellow hasn’t done anything wrong. Then you add the bandido mask, and you have the idea for a pixar movie.
