I live in Eugene, Oregon where I work for a school district as a Spanish translator and interpreter. I’ve lived in Mexico, Canada, and southwestern USA, including Arizona, Oklahoma, California. My family’s roots are in the Pacific Northwest, however, and I came to Oregon 3 years ago. I became interested in digital photography about 2 years ago, and have increased my skills and understanding of photography using the Oregon natural beauty as my palette. I have recently entered my photos in art shows and displays, which has given me a taste for developing my latent artist. I’m the proud owner of an Aprilia Scarabeo 500cc, which I sometimes use to get to my photo locations. I’ve been shooting with a Nikon D50, and in April took the big leap to a D300. It’s a fabulous camera, and I’m sure it’ll take me a few weeks to grow into it.
