The Cat: furry ball of purring joy or inter-dimensional traveler caught in a causality loop?

In Neruda’s, Book of Questions, one line haunts me: “how many questions does a cat have?” Of which I’m sure the answer is one: should I bridge this gap? Distance would be unique to the 4 dimensional experience.

Distance is a function of time and space treated as separate physical realities. Physical awareness is dependent on the particular perspective of judgement. Judgement is a function of 2 dimensional thinking. Really?, the cats says. You want to reduce your already small process even further? That’s a rhetorical statement, not a question. The cat remains pure.

The cat never actually answers its question, it either acts, or does not, simultaneously. In effect then, action and non action is not a decision based on external stimuli, but states of ability existing cross dimensionally. Bodies at rest tend to stay at rest: bodies in motion tend to stay in motion, states the axiom. The key word is “tend”, which, like the bridge, remains in place to cross, recross, or do neither.

So tendencies define the reality of self-awareness? Reality is a function of time. The reality of who you are today is not the reality of yesterday, or realities before that day or beyond now. Definition is not a fixed fact. Definition depends on the systems of separation, the I and thou. The cat exists as itself, but understands it is assuming the traits of dimensions. We define self as unique, but also believe it as multiplicity separated. The cat sees the difficulty of object/subject as fixed fact. The self-aware cat is simply movement or not movement.

What’s my reality? What do you want it to be? Are you saying I can make my own reality? No, but you can act or not act as your perception of reality appears to you. So a better question might be: should I bridge this gap? So reality is a function of where I think I am? Or maybe where you feel you want to go. Oh. So, how many feelings does a cat have?

Good question.

Please do not take this seriously. I’m just bored. I had this dream that I had to give a talk at a quantum physics conference without wearing pants. This seemed to be an appropriate response.
Also this ended up on my blog artFAITHscience where I write out my thoughts on intersections between the three. It seems to me artists, scientists, meta-physicians are exploring the same questions within their own language.

oh MY GOODNESS . . you are running through my mind like cats jumping over sprinklers!! This is a delight and I love that explanation statement. Just keep dazzeling everybody and no one will notice that you have been depantsed. Except maybe when you saunter out of the room as all the purring kittykats make question marks with their tails. :)))

  • Cats jumping over sprinklers…now that’s a reality bender :) Do they do that without pants? MY last cat would sometimes sit on the couch and she would look out into the room like she was following a bouncing ball and I’d be like, “Where are you?”
    Thanks Y

‘Move over…your bothering me’ Excellent write me(ow) friend :)

  • :))) yes they do have that need for an exacting space. In Egypt cats were once revered as gods…cats have never forgotten this. Than you for reading good sir.
