without you
i am a dawn no horizon breaks…the event waiting to never happen
a vanishing point at the edge of always seeing
i am the faceless gravestone… a time existing motionless
a point of energy deprived of imminence
without you
the shadow casts no object and subject stands beyond light
a silence uninterested in remaining unheard
a sweetness left uncompounded by rust
agony unrealized.
with you
i am the awakening golden glow, the joining parallel line
i have lived and will live again, a wave of continuing turbulence
with you
presence in the thing and non-thing alike, combined light and shadow
the enlivened poem whispering between thunders of your heart
distinct flavors, earth toned colors,
agony realized.
with you i am the tremble of parting lips…eventing anticipated kisses
a vanishing point at the edge transcendence.
kisses, transcendence, you, horizon, dawn, difference, heart, thunders
Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach. —Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Wow, kenroome, I bow in front of the master of opposites… that you may find my poems interesting is an award to me… this is absolutely stunning!
:)))) You make me smile largely with your comment. But your poems inspire me beyond constrictions of meaning….good writers invent and create and you are that. Thank you so much for reading me.

wonderfully wrought verse……prose to make one think and reflect
Thank you tons Loui. What you’ve said I feel the same about your art…how you see the life under the life and bring it out to reflect, admire, take in. Thank you for your comment.

I am so base Ken… forgive me but first thing is one of my ever loving WOW’s wanting to express itself, here, this point of connection this feeling of desire realized and that potential ‘without’ cursed by how if feels when ‘you’ are here.
WOW.
Your WOW,s are an honor Lina. You are based. You are secure on the foundation of art, reaching from the world of feeling. You are grounded and whirrrling at once. I can’t thank you enough.

Just be still my heart, soul and everything in between! I shall reread this before bed tonight because I love this beautifully moving work and want to take it with me. Every now and then I find a gem like this one and it is the main ingredient in sweet dreams. Lovely Ken and may I also say thank you! xx
That a poem leads the way into your dreams…I’m beyond thrilled. You say the most amazing things.

gee whiz Ken, this is great stuff. I would never think of this. very creative!!
A very wonderful compliment from you Y. You who reaches into realms of art and sees her way into a creative world beyond our wildest dreams. Blake Steele has a term called “The Wild Christ” he uses to describe the divine without constrictions….you make wild art…and so thank you deeply for reading and seeing this.
