‘Vuvuzuela’ is from the Snakeskin Sketchbook series
From wikipedia: The vuvuzela (pronunciation: /vuːvuːˈzɛlə/), also known as lepatata Mambu (its Tswana name), colloquially known in South Africa as “Moerstripper”, is a plastic horn, about 65 centimetres (2 ft) long, which produces a loud monotone note, typically around B♭3 (the B♭ below middle C). Some models are made in two parts to facilitate storage, and this design also allows pitch variation. Many types of vuvuzela, made by several manufacturers, may produce various intensity and frequency outputs. The intensity of these outputs depends on the blowing technique and pressure exerted.

Starting with little drawings next to the words on primary school spelling tests. One scribble on a school workbook led to another and, well, you know. Since then a career of image making for children’s picture books & design using various media. Redbubble allows me to put forward more of the personal work, artistic experiments, directions and ideas as well as bits and pieces from the images created over the years.
