‘A gesture for a gesture’ aka ‘For Heaven’s Sake’ is from the Snakeskin Sketchbook series.
It’s about asking or pleading for a little sign from a higher authority.
Or is it about osmosis. Waiting for the movement from where there is more to where there is less.

Starting with little drawings next to the words on primary school spelling tests. One scribble on a school workbook led to another and, well, you know. Since then a career of image making for children’s picture books & design using various media. Redbubble allows me to put forward more of the personal work, artistic experiments, directions and ideas as well as bits and pieces from the images created over the years.
