Like A Virgin
I don’t know about the rest of you but redbubble has made me act all youthful and excitable again.
I’ve never had much of a forum to display my perhaps mediocre photos but redbubble has roused emotions in someone like me who is otherwise quite difficult to affect with hype.
I’m acting like a teen with a crush on my first love, constantly logging onto redbubble to see what comments I’ll get next and to pray for that one messgae which says that I’ve made a sale. Not really because of the money and certainly not because I think it makes me anything more as a photographer, but it’s the feeling of the chase in the anticipation and the desire for valid, external recognition.
Am I the only one here who feels like that?

For me RedBubble has been also been transformative. I just wrote I Shot s Wombat. Before RedBubble this would have just been idea, never fully expressed or captured. For me it is wonderful to be able to actually find a place where I can wtite such a thing and be confident the community will deal with it respectfully and kindly. I guess that is why we started it …

Kenneth, you’ve summed me up to a T…it’s almost as if you’re waiting for Santa Clause to fill your stocking isn’t it? Let’s keep wishin’ and a hopin’ together…

...but it’s the feeling of the chase in the anticipation and the desire for valid, external recognition. Yep. Me too.

Know how you feel ken. It’s good to be able to see your work and read about where you’ve been traveling to. You’re clearly quite passionate about photography which is something i didn’t know about you before!
