The Waterpocket Fold, Capitol Reef NP, Utah, USA by

Colorful cliff along The Waterpocket Fold, the defining geologic land form of Utah’s Capitol Reef National Park. The fold in the earth’s crust runs for over 100 miles and makes for an amazing, photo-rich landscape!

Kenneth Keifer is a photographer and media producer living in Mooresville, Indiana. He will photograph just about anything beautiful or interesting but dramatic landscapes, national parks, lighthouses, floral, and wildlife are some of his favorite subjects. Beautiful layers of color!!!

  • Thanks! That place is amazing! I was only at Capitol Reef NP for about 3 hours while passing through. I hope, Lord willing, to get back there and spend much more time with camera in hand.
