West Point Lighthouse, PEI, Canada by

The beautiful West Point Lighthouse is the tallest on Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is also one of the most distinctive in that it departs from the typical Canadian lighthouse paint scheme of white only with red accents. This square-based light is made of wood and it’s bright red top contains a green glass Fresnel lens lamp. The red earth sand of PEI, blue sky with white clouds, and dune fence and foliage complete the composition!

Kenneth Keifer is a photographer and media producer living in Mooresville, Indiana. He will photograph just about anything beautiful or interesting but dramatic landscapes, national parks, lighthouses, floral, and wildlife are some of his favorite subjects.
