The Tornado and the Tree
The Tornado and the Tree was shot in the spring of 2004 in south Kansas and was the first tornado in an out brake of tornados. This one storm cell had 10 tornados as it moved east north east along the Oklahoma Kansas line. The StormPhoto.net chase log (story about the chase) can be seen here
If you live in apart of our world that gets severe weather please see my weather safety tips And have a plan and know what you would do, when the sky goes black. Thanks for supporting my works KF

Do you chase tornados? I’ve never seen a photo get so many comments. We all curious, but most of us don’t want to be in harms way.
Cindy RN
Kenneth, I just came across this photo, and very well done.
Living in Oklahoma, of course these are familiar to me, I find tornado’s very fasinating, although I respect them greatly/
May of 1999, was the worst year Oklahoma had for tornado’s, It is amazing the damage and devastion that is made in the path of one of these, and then perhaps across the street nothing at all will be touched.
Tornado season is coming upon us quickly.
I love your work, and thank you for being there for us chasing these tornado’s, without you all being out there, there would be many more lives lost.
Cindy
