This is the 22nd in my ‘painting a day’ series. It started as an experiment to see if spray fix applied to wet washes of acrylic, ink, and watercolor would do anything interesting. As I kept working, a face started to develop, and that is when I decided to use a transfer inkblot technique. I also added detail and value with charcoal and pastel.

I’ve studied and done art my whole life, starting with tracing from comics at the age of 8 or so, progressing through working in comics and games, private commissions and having jobs in online games, educational media, military training and much more. Commissions accepted. See for more work.
