Altered Cards: Movie bad guys by

This group is one of hundreds of altered Magic the Gathering cards I have done over the last 5 or 6 years. Acrylic right on the cards, no drawing. Sometimes I am amazed I can get a good likeness this way.

Many of these were really fun to do.

WOW these are awsome! How do you get involved in this line of work, I’d LOVE to get a job like that :)

  • Well, as for the alterations, people just started asking me. As for Magic, some art director talked to me a con loooong ago.

So cool! Some of the best bad guys on film.

  • again, though, I have to wonder why they weren’t accepted. I wonder, for example, if someone did a series of 8 × 10 portraits of a bunch of various stars…would that art, after a few entries, stop being accepted? It’s not skin off my nose really, but it seems very strange.
