Blood for the Muse
This is a recent painting done for the dvd cover of a low budget horror film. For this one, I decided to play around with Dr. Martin Dyes (concentrated watercolor) and inks, with a tiny bit of regular watercolor.

Hey, thanks neogolas! I had planned to have a warm foreground and cool background, but as with many of these paintings, the process itself sort of decides what is going to happen (and most of the time, I like it that way).

Another awesome creation, how fun it would be to design a cover for a low budget movie, I love Low Budget horror flicks, they are so fun, Like Evil Dead hehe;)

yeah, funny you should mention Evil Dead…we just watched Raimi’s latest, Drag Me to Hell…more or less in the same vein (no pun intended).
