Incredible image. I love the symmetry, is it a mirror image except for the tail?

I spend hours chasing bugs in bugland. Natural environment, do not disturb etc. Now I shall have to try your technique, it produces really amazing results.

Your idea of the white would have been JUST the ticket!!!!! This one is FABULOUS, by the way … but I gotta tell ya, your buddy looks kinda … ahhhh … well …. let’s just say annoyed with you, lol!!!! Brilliant photo Ken! The technical detail is perfect, and the white photo paper as a backdrop is thinking outside the sqare! Ive done studio work with dogs and cats, but have NO idea in the world as to how to get insects to pose – do they work for food reward, haha??! Thats my one trick and i dont imagine that’d work! Awesome shot!
