Ooooooooooh Ken NOOOOOOOOOOO I’m going to have horrible nightmares now!!!! Why did I look? You know I absolutely love your macro creepies, but this one seriously gave me the heebie jeebies. You SO win the bravery award! (I’m sure the photo is excellent, but I can’t really tell from my one nanosecond glance!)

Hey Ken thats a great shot I love it! Even see the tiny hairs on it! I got a bunch of them things living here in Germany not that one but never seen so many spiders until I came here!Place is full of them!
But you guys got the monsters thats for sure!

Would make me nervous sitting in the grass or the park or hopping into bed thinking somethings in there!

Very nice! Wolf Spiders are common here and the largest of the spider species in this area. Until your very nicely taken shot, I had never seen one up so close. Lovely blue eyes he has and he reminds me of a warrior! Well done! :)

ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT, nightmares or not this is what I call a spider. Considered doing a similar shot on a mirror, and capturing the reflection (just a thought). But seriously this is great – Well Done

Beautiful work Ken… I’m not into spiders but appreciate the work that goes in to a good macro… I don’t have my glasses on atm but those eyes look like opals, just amazing!!! (hehe, just put the glasses on and the eyes still have that lumessence of opal – love it)

Oh he is disgustingly scary! I hate spiders. You captured this so well. Excellent macro. You are very brave going that close to such a creature. I can even see the colour of his eyes. Amazing!

You are so right about those eyes! What incredible alien-like peepers they are!
You have successfully squeezed every bit of clarity from your use of depth of field and your focus and focal point are spot on rendering nice intricate detail.
The lighting, exposure and processing are excellent and the colours are wonderfully natural.
