    It is real jesika, the bee is where it is. I was actually going to add a blurred honey jar to the background but my PS skills are not all that good. Thanks for the lovely comment

    Thanks clarkey. Its was in fact honey. The other legs are actually there but obscurred from view. I had to go and check though as I honestly never noticed. The other shots confirmed what I thought. They are there

    Thank you so much picketty. Its actually just a drop of honey on the page……......no layers mate. I cant remember where the actual RAW image is but I’m pretty sure it was shot with the 100mm macro f32 200th/sec

    Yes the meal is good, especially in this situation and no they are most certainly never dead. Bugs are like birds to some extent, they always preen or clean themselves and dead ones are always damaged goods
