Hi Ken – great macro – unusual on the white – DOF works well. How did you get her to stay still?!
jacqi, 2 months ago
omigod, how many eyes has that thing got? It’s a very good macro but…aaargh!.....I’m going to dewatch you until that redback is done with then I won’t see the mini version which will be more than enough for me!!

JohnScott, 2 months ago
I wonder Ken, with so many eyes as to how they would operate, whether they edit and join to form a whole circumference peripheral, or is there a kind of over lap. If it is looking forward at prey do the eyes at the back cut out in it’s brain or what? Maybe it sees the world like a fixed fish-eye lens but then it’s brain kind of straightens the perspective. Mainly postulating because the eyes don’t have lids or seeming movement from left to right, up and down like ours or a chameleon.
Ken Boxsell in reply to JohnScott’s comment, 2 months ago
Sorry John I’m afraid I don’t know the answer to that but thanks for dropping by and leaving such an insightful comment

Ken, Want to Thank you for being such a great inspiration to me and all the others that enjoy your work, or fun for that matter! I do think it is fun and changeling to chase the bugs we come in contact with around the house while trying to get them to cooperate while we try to get them in position to get the best shot. Love this spider with the 6 eyes!
