Ah I so miss your work Ken when I must be away. There is always something in each piece that is balm for my spirit, that calls to me out of the past and perhaps the future to “come home.” Just stunningly beautiful as always – kissed by the light. xox

  • As I miss your comments Lianne. In the same way there is something about your support that justifies what I do and encourages so much.

Wonderful lighting Ken, what a magnificent place, does someone live there? and are those birds flying over the water or fish? A very very beautiful capture, love those mountains, but love all your fabulous mountains scenes Ken :o)xox

  • I think the hut/croft is just used to store fishing equipment now Josie. They are two dolphins so they are neither fish nor fowl. I’m glad you like it.

    I don’t think I’ve ever heard you sing Ken…
That is a staggering backdrop. I wish the building was a little croft, my little croft so that I could live in those mind blowing surroundings and watch the dolphins. Amazing that you caught them…I didn’t know you had dolphins way up there, thought I was losing my mind at first. Beautiful shot Ken, I ache for those views.

  • There are dolphin, whales, porpoise all around these islands Zoe. My favourite are the Minke whales I see when I go out into the Minch. This is the stretch of water in between the outer and inner Hebrides. There is a perminant colony of Bottlenose dolphins in the Moray Firth on the East coast and it is not unusual to see the odd pod of Killer whales hunting around here.
