Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Gorgeous Ken I love how the clouds fall over the mountain and what a mountain and the lovely water shimmering below, this is truly a magical place, how on earth do you manage to get birds into your shots, you do have a pet eagle I’m sure of it…. this is just stunning Ken, you really make me want to be there, so very very beautiful
Kenart replied
These are the Black Cullins on skye. You can just see the Inaccessable Pinnacle in the top centre. There are a resident pair of Golden Eagles that I see constantly. This is the smaller male just setting out from a favourite perch nearby. They have fledged a number of young over the years, I have been coming here to Torrin. As I have said before, you are too kind to me Josie, thank you so much.

The title of one of my favorite books by Sharon Penman! Simply and totally awe inspiring work Ken – the light here is actually divine. Your work is incomparable my friend – there is none like it and none with the power to move me as yours does. The eagle adds an element of myth, perhaps “totem,” to this majestic sight for eagle brings many messages to those blessed to see them and be led by them to cherish such beauty.
Kenart replied
I’ve always loved the idea used by the early cartographers of putting ‘here be dragons’ when what was actually there was unknown. I also like the idea of totemic symbolism and that is as you rightly point out one of the reasons old aquirre is there. I really look forward to your wonderful, understanding comments my dear friend.
