this is so fantabulous , wonderful way you have with paint! I would like to say something profound and sensible, but not being a wizard in that department, I can only sit here and drool. Same goes for #2 also!.

Don’t get your keyboard all wet Ginny. It would not like that. Thanks for your encouraging words.

Fascinating concept Ken….........Vibrant yet soft at the same time (the way a bedroom should be! LOL).......I would say this effect is not easily achieved but you have mastered it…..........
Kenart replied
I thank you Ruth. I try, or is it I am trying? One of the two.

great composition Ken, blue is a tricky colour to work with, as there are hot and cool blues tampering with forward and backward movement, this works really well.
Kenart replied
It was the blue brown, warm/cold relationship that fascinated John. A sort of interior exterior, giving the forward/backward you refer to.

Fascinating piece Ken! At first I felt distanced by a sense of chaos, but the more I look at it the more I like the cubes and lines and now I appreciate the depth between the background and foreground! Once again brilliant use of color and space!
Kenart replied
It started off many years ago as a journey around a place I used to live. Standing in the centre of the room and taking a drawing in every possible direction. That and being fascinated with cinematography.

Ken this is stunning. Total style, and I love the way it realtes to the title. Great use of complimentary colors too create a vibe. Nice work!
Kenart replied
Thank you Billy. I love using complimentaries and the way they shutter backwards and forwards. I’d actually just seen 2001 a Space Odessey for the umpteenth time when I painted this and strange to say it was influenced.
