The Day After by Sheldon Pettit

Available to buy on…

I went down to bootcamp on monday night and noticed there was alot of cloud cover around, so i pack up the camera and tripod “just in case”. Bootcamp finished right on 7, a few minutes before the sun went down. The sunset wasnt looking that great, but i thought what the hell, i was already at the beach, might as well get some shoots. So i wandered down the beach looking for some nice basalt rock to use as a focal point, set up, turned on the camera………. no memory card!!!!!
I was spewin!! anyways as murphys law goes, this was the most beautiful sunset i have even seen in bunbury, if not ever!!
On rolls tuesday, there was alot of cloud cover around again during the day, so i thought i’d head back down, memory card in tow. The sunset was mediocre at best with only 1 cloud sticking around for the show. This is what i managed.

Canon 1000d
A 4 image stitch
All shots taken at f/5.6
Iso 100
1/80 sec exp.

I took a few photos on my phone so i will upload them soon to this photo, the phone photos dont do it any justice. There was every colour from green to rich purple
