Wild Flowers is a 24″×20″ acrylic on canvas. This is my third attempt at a painting. The first is underneath it. I am a travel photographer, but working with my late mother’s art, seeing her individual works through my lens has made me want to learn to paint. I can’t explain why, because I am not sure why, but it’s all in good fun.

I live a semi-nomadic life, writing books and articles about travel and helping animals along the way. Selling my photographic images and prints of a collection of my late mother’s artwork (Avonelle Kelsey, 1931-2009) is a new way in which I am attempting to avoid an ordinary life, while paying my art storage bills back home.
