246 views 17/5/11 – A local friendly kookaburra taken with my 300mm zoom and Canon 40d, I spent about 30minutes just following him around the trees, South Coast NSW
This has got to best best Capture of a kookaburra I have seen yet. The perfectly blurred background really sets this kookaburra as the focus of attention. lovely light. A Masterpiece.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I am very proud of this capture too.

I love how you set this up with the pretty foliage in the background as I imagine you gazing up at this adorable bird. Wonderful selective shallow depth of field in deep light and soft shadows, it is lovely!
Thank you very much Sharon for taking the time to comment
