After a sensational 38.3°c day in Hobart yesterday, we received a fantastic and rare thunderstorm to cool things down a bit. I guess mother nature made a decision that she was going to steal the show from the planned fireworks displays. Mother Nature 1 – Fireworks 0 from where I was sitting!

I could have done a few things better with this shot, but I had to handhold it/rest the camera on the deck for this and am glad I managed to get a grab of this crawler I saw sneaking across the sky!
