I have recently turned to photography because of the immediacy of digital photography and my ability to manipulate and enhance images. I am also an artist and paint in oils, watercolor and mixed media. But digital photography offers me (almost) instant gratification.
My artwork comes from a deep need to work with color and texture, to communicate the great beauty I find in the everyday world around me.
Whether it is a digital image or a work on canvas, these processes and mediums give me trails to follow, to explore and open up new worlds. Every day becomes an adventure, a creative journey.
