Winter Blahs

Holidays over (thank god) but now the weeks of winter set in with a vengeance. My last few additions today were of my garden last summer (before the hurricane and freak snowstorm in October!). Daylight Savings -- Time to Create?

Perhaps it’s the darkness closing in earlier but there seems to be an incredible amount of work hitting RB these days. Amazing artists and photographers whose images take your breath away! / Just got back from a trip up to New Hampshire to a Quilt Festival — more incredible images, colors, textures. And the drive up and back took me through old apple orchards, past brooks and rivers…

Summer Respite Over!

Spring's Demands

It’s been too long since my last visit to RB — this season, so glorious — a riot of growing things bursting with color and demanding one’s attention — also demands a lot of hard work in the gardens! After many weekends of weeding, transplanting, pruning and planting, I have finally been able to take the camera out and celebrate the gentle chaos that is spring!
