I am fascinated by the things we do to remember our dead. From creating beautiful parks where our loved ones can rest forever to passing on ghost stories from generation to generation. I don’t find anything theatrical or macabre in death, only the next cycle of life. So, although many of my photos are of grave sites or the remnants of what’s left behind, they’re not meant to shock or spook. Instead they’re meant to make you pause and remember.
