This little red roan foal belongs to a herd of wild mustangs (Equus ferus) called the Onaqui. They roam free in the West Desert area of Utah. This little guy was grazing in the wilderness with the rest of the herd when they found a huge field of sunflowers. While the grown ups ate, the foals all romped and played in the sunflowers that were over six feet tall.
