Dreams
Inspired by a recent dream and then just completed art works, designed from images taken specifically to digitally redesign, this is the final piece to a 3 part work, that started as a dream
the night closes in
settle down for sleep
quiet night noises drift
relaxed the mind wanders
dream state takes over
the thoughts tumble in
slowly a story unfolds
chapter one to begin
the chapters open quickly
speed builds and builds
colours racing through
the story packed with thrills
smells, tastes, colours
noises, feelings intertwine
dialogue flows forth
actors roles combine
the scenery changes
the pace is wary
the noises hightened
by the nature of the scene
movement again unfolds
stationery for but a moment
speed and wind
scenery and smells fly by
Colours are vibrant all around
thoughts flooding now
a story will you remember
in a half concious state
you return and continue
can the story continue
dangerous ground
you’re out of control
actions louder than sound
it seems like hours
but in real time just seconds
the end is nearing
drag it out some more
excitement and energy building
ferocious and exhausting
resting and slowing down
to build once again
you feel the feelings
senses at their strongest
cold is so cold
hot near scalding
water, sun, warmth
you feel all
birds, splashes and laughter
noises you hear all
Then as fast as it began
you find yourself at the end
maybe tomorrow you can
follow the dream round another bend….....
