Port Denison Bay (with poem - please read) by

Taken a few weeks after my nephew was taken suddenly and tragically.

Western Australia (taken As Is from my Fuji F6500 camera)

Port Denison offers a relaxed lifestyle with beautiful beaches, historical sites and a healthy fishing industry. The main street, Moreton Terrace, is lined with Moreton Bay Fig trees which were planted in 1906 and are now a focal point of the town.

The shock,
the horror,
the tears flow and burn
the pain is searing inside.

The questions unanswered
emptiness and sorrow
the hurt so deep
never ends

here and now gone
forever young
never to grow
flourish and blossom

so many affected
so much sorrow and pain
helpless to do
helpless to say

words are no use
looks are no better
pity and sorrow
the pain cant be healed

gone forever now
no more laughter and giggles
no more games
to be played

lost to nature
in such a cruel manner
life is short
take what you can while you can

look for the good things
the opportunities to smile
remember the innocence
and hang onto that smile

you’ll never be forgotten
you’ll always be loved
we love you my little friend
my little man, my love

time will soften
the loss ans the sorrow
forever we’ll remember
forever, forever

LOVE YOU J

I hope my love of photography is evident in the mood and memory I capture in my images

The sandy foreground adds a different aspect to this stunning sunset. Beautiful unedited shot!

  • Thanks again Jan, it was just what I was trying to portray, a different aspect, and the colours were just so unbelievable too
