I have been taking photos since I was a child, having started with a box brownie and slowly worked up to an SLR Canon. I now use a Fuji S5600 digital camera (and when I remember, a tripod!)
I love to travel, and am never found without my camera close at hand. I like to find the unusual, beautiful, strange and inspiring within the things that surround us each day.
My digital skills are improving, and apart from a bit of cropping, and an occassional adjustment of brightness or contrast, almost all of my images are straight from my camera.
I take 5 minutes every now and again to write, things that usually just pop up all of their own accord and then grow in my head, until they burst forth on to paper. Please have a read (even if you don’t usually bother with that type of thing).
THANK YOU TO ALL THE GROUPS WHO HAVE HONOURED ME WITH FEATURES. THERE ARE TOO MANY NOW TO MENTION, BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS HOLD A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY MEMORIES,
PROCEDES FROM ALL SALES OF ANY OF MY IMAGES WILL GO TO MY NEPHEWS MEMORIAL TRUST -
Jeremy Doble Memorial Trust Fund

My nephew was tragically taken by a crocodile in early February 2009, in a freak situation, that will never present it’s self again in my life time or yours. He was a typical fun loving, cheeky little man, full of love, laughter and life. He leaves a brother, who was also his very best mate. The fund will assist in the covering of costs and to help build a new life for his family.

Thanks to the WA Red Bubble group II for the honour of having my image as the opener for your challenge. I feel very humbled.
