My Bubble site

I have been taking photos since I was a child, having started with a box brownie and slowly worked up to an SLR Canon film camera. I now use a Fuji S5600 digital camera (and when I remember, a tripod!)

I look for the art and beauty in nature and human endeavours, and try to capture them as I believe they were meant to be seen. That may mean looking at angles, lighting, view points etc.

My works (other than where obvious and stated in the description) carry little or no adjustment in any editing program. I like to THINK about what I want the image to look like, plan the details and take it right, first time.

I would be happy to receive any comments, critisism, suggestions and ideas. I welcome you all to join me in the never ending learning curve, that is photography.

My nephew was tragically taken by a crocodile in early February 2009, in a freak situation, that will never present it’s self again in my life time or yours. He was a typical fun loving, cheeky little man, full of love, laughter and life. He leaves a brother, who was also his very best mate. The fund will assist in the covering of costs and to help build a new life for his family.
