Hello! We are the Bradshaws, a typical British family living in Kent, England. However, we have recently set ourselves an interesting challenge – To see if we can survive our usual family pressures while only buying goods from the United Kingdom.
Ok, let’s put the challenge into perspective: This means all our food, clothing, house-wares, electronics, fuel, in fact everything we buy, must be made, designed or produced in the Britain by British companies.
Ideally, any goods or services bought by us will be produced or manufactured in the UK by a British company. However, failing this items produced by a British brand will be acceptable. If no options exist under these rules we will either find a substitute which does meet our required level of “Britishness” or live without.
The caveat: we will accept in instance of dire need medicines or pharmaceutical items that do not meet our rules (we are not fanatics!).
How difficult are we going to find this?
