Yesterday, in the pouring rain, I took a quick snap of the south trancept rose window of Notre Dam Cathedral in Paris, rushed home, and spent the next 5 hours converting it to a detailed drawing. I am intrigued by the exquisite skill of the early stone masons who built this.
This is also available as Printed Art
Here is how the design was developed
Fot those who are interested in the Photoshop Techniques employed, I will write a journal describing how it was done.
The small symbol to the lower right, is a personal Chop I have designed for myself (initials “KR”) based on the same window. I have a small business creating these for people if anyone is interested (just email me on firstname.lastname@example.org with chopsclub in the subject line. Using the same word in Google will lead you to many of the chops I have designed for others.)
