Chalong Bay, south-eastern Phuket Island in Thailand, houses many fishing boats. This small one, with a double stern (some are single-sterned), is powered by a suspended motor at the end of a long propellor shaft, mounted onto the “Longtail” boat via a universal mounting. The whole drive arrangement is moved by a human operator, able to change its direct and power at will. An excellent nautical innovation. Keith.
