China Signs 10 Cable Car at Huang Shan

Modern day tourists do not have to endure the many days of horrendous climbing, faced by earlier visitors to these beautiful Huang Shan mountains. Instead they simply need to be brave enough to climb into the cable-car that rises almost vertically upwards, along huge cables that disappear into the clouds above. During the trip I was wide-eyed and photographing furiously, but turned around at times to witness many other passengers with eyes tightly closed, clinging onto their loved ones as if for the last time. Certainly worth the trip, however!
